1) During the early stages of the design, it is required to understand the physics and pressure underwater. 3) Since nature crisis would be the greatest threat to the security of the bridge, we have to make sure that the bridge is longlasting and free of problems. The monitoring process is broken down into two categories: Long-Term Monitoring and Daily Monitoring.
We provided Campbell CR6 Datalogger and CDM-VW305 for monitoring, the combination of the two allows a VSPECT Dynamic Vibrating Wire Sensors allowing accurate data and access for monitoring. While the Instantel Minimate was used to monitor the vibration of the bridge throughout all stages of construction.
When doing a daily monitoring, we have involved multiple monitoring equipments such as MIRA to monitor and image the thickness and look for air and gaps within the cement, Proceq GPR 3D Radar to monitor and see where the wires are located within the wall, Proceq Profometer Corrosion monitor to monitor corrosion, Giatec CELL also to monitor corrosion, Giatec iCOR also to monitor corrosion rate and to determine the durability of the concrete, NEC Infrared Camera to monitor temperature.
